I am the mother of a beautiful boy Riley, who is 5 years of age.

“Like many families around Ireland, we found it extremely difficult to get accurate assessments and timely services in the health and education areas.

In February 2019 we instructed KOD Lyons to take legal proceedings against the HSE on Riley’s behalf, and on April 1st we won our case in the High Court. The HSE were ordered to carry out Riley’s assessment within specified timeframes.

Following this we got Riley’s updated cognitive report which allows us finally to have access education and hopefully a service plan.
