Patricia joined KOD Lyons LLP in December 2023 as part of the incorporation of Jonathan Dunphy & Co. Solicitors.
Patricia joined JDS in 2018 as an intern in order to progress her career in the area of criminal defence. She graduated with a Bachelors of Law degree (LLB) from Technological University Dublin in 2019 after which she was promoted to a trainee solicitor.
Patricia worked for one of Dublin’s busiest law firms and brings over six years of experience in criminal defence work prior to being admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2024.
During her time in JDS, Patricia worked directly with the managing partner on several high profile cases in Ireland. She was head of the Superior Courts section within the firm and regularly spent time attending on criminal defence cases in the Circuit Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
As a qualified solicitor in KOD Lyons, Patricia now splits her time between the District Court and the Superior Courts in the area of criminal defence. Client care has always been at the forefront of her practice and she is passionate in advocating for her clients’ best interests. Patricia adopts a very hands-on approach with all clients.
Patricia maintains a strong interest in criminal law and can also speak Tagalog.
