Lumi Panaite Fahey LLB LLM MIILeX, Accredited Translator and Interpreter , Accredited Mediator, Solicitor.
Lumi holds a degree in Irish Law and a Masters in International Commercial Law with a dissertation entitled ‘The Right to Health, Patenting the Human Gene, Analysis of Law and Morality’. She has been an Accredited Translator and Interpreter since 2004 and is native Romanian and fluent in Italian and has working language skills in German and Spanish.
Lumi qualified as an Accredited Mediator in 2010 and as a Legal Executive in 2015 as a full member with MIILeX, the Irish Legal Executive Institute. Lumi was awarded full scholarship to the Law Society of Ireland and is currently working as an Assistant Solicitor in our Civil Law Department. Lumi has experience in Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Debt Recovery, Immigration Law, Succession and Probate Law, Criminal Law, Family Law, Intellectual Property, Conveyancing and Commercial Leases and Employment. Lumi is also experienced in drafting Powers of Attorney in several languages.
Lumi is a Member of the Irish Women Lawyers Association; Dublin Solicitors Bar Association; Member of the Romanian Community of Ireland and Romanian Females Community in Ireland in which she is actively involved; Member of the External Board Committee of the Dublin Technological University and Member of ICM UK.
